i ended up getting ahold of one vs. trying to make my own return system.

Now this is not anywhere close to a reg. return, but in theory is good consept and is working very good.
after all was together and with the key on there were no leaks on the first try, amazing !! so letting just the pump run to take out all the air and listening to the fuel block that i installed, it sounded like it was flowing nicely..
i cranked it up and let idle, it seems to be a little quieter considering i now have fuel to the first and last cylinder on opposing sides. just popping the throttle in the drive way yielded more smoke... the test drive in 75 eco yielded more smoke and more seat of the pants power, once the TC locks, it just plain pulls harder !! so now, flipp to my race tune, ALOT more smoke and has a nice linear pull till the hpop drops off, and smoke doesnt clean up as easily. for the price, i really like what i got.
the fuel block that connects over where the fuel reg. spring is nicely machined and a perfect fit, however tight. the return line in the block is micro drilled to allow fuel/air to pass through into the fuel bowl return stream.

and here are some install pics, (not of my install)
