m not finding solid information in my searches so I'm resorting to posting in hopes of getting some feedback. Im going to rebuild my 2003. It'll be 900-1000hp with a large single, no more than that.

Does anything need to be done to the piston to accept the gapless second ring?
Where the hell do you buy them also, because I can't for the life of me find anyone who sells it?
What about top and bottom ring, just run standard rings/gap?

Are H bearings worth it for what I'm doing? Ive read stick with non coated bearings as well.
On a side note- I realize this has been beat to death regarding the strength of the two, but I have a set of 12v rods sitting here. Should I go ahead and get them polished and throw them in instead of reusing my CR rods? Not from a strength standpoint but for weight after polishing.
Probably going to have the piston skirts coated but thats about it I think, unless anyone has other input to add. Thank you
