I cannot find the scotty intake for the 2nd gen anywhere, is it still available anywhere? If not will the 3rd gen scotty work?

also, why dont you try to emulate the design yourself? that would be a cool little project.

Ebay has them sometimes, they still fetch a serious preminum. Cutting the hole in the cowl is what made them so famous. They brought the noise to you. It was a very sweet product.

I'm still running one. It's time for a new air filter on it but other than that it's running like a champ. 130K miles on it. And yes the hole is cut and makes that turbo sound oh so nice.

They did but the rights to make the intakes were sold AFAIK.

There is a guy on DTR and Cummins Forum right now talking to Scotty about making them available again. They need to pre=-sell about 100 of them.

could someone post a pic of where to cut the hole for the scotty intake id like to do that to my truck and see if it whissles more

Its about the only spot in the firewall you can fit it. If all you want is more whisle the exact location doesn't matter.
