1/2 ton Dodge 2wd: All or Part - Competition Diesel.Com - Bringing The BEST Together

Im seriously thinking about finding a bed for this thing and sticking my 12v in it....

My main concern is getting it registered and having to worry about emissions testing later in life... (Montgomery County, Texas) How is everyone else going about registering these gas conversions?

Just to explore the build thought a little more... The stock rearend.. Will it hold to street/light strip driving? :thankyou2:

I did some searching and didnt see much info.. Any links would be great!

I was wondering the same thing about emmisons I'm just about forty miles south of Houston in fort bend county doing a conversion in an old chevy. The only things I have heard is the truck is suppose to have the same kind of exhaust setup as most diesel trucks of the engines year model(resinator, muffler ...whatever . How true that is I'm not sure. Just thought I'd throw it out there

Anyone else? I would like to keep the rearend for the meantime... hoping the gearing will help net good mpg..
