Smoke out the oil fill tube.

New to the forum. I have my first question for you guys. I have a stock 2002 7.3L with 62,000mi. When the truck is cold and I pull the oil fill cap off no venting of smoke is observed. When the engine is warmed up, and you do the same, there is a good amount of venting taking place. Is that normal?

yes its normal unless there's alot of pressure when you take cap off

It is just blow by it is normal. (to an extent)
