I had a PSC steering pump on the truck awhile back to help with the extra force needed to turn wider tires. Seemed to work ok till it wore out. I had the shop replace it with a borgeson unit. Now the steering will sometimes have no power assist at low revs. The wheel turns like a car I had 20 years ago that had no power steering.
Any suggestions on aftermarket goodies that will help with this? Looks like some companies make modded pumps that require coolers. Question is, is that enough or do I need to look at an assist cyl on the axle / tierod?
