have a 1991 non overdrive 3/4 4x4 cummins the synchro sleeve and gears are worn down to a lip so truck wont shift into any gear after hammer it out of 4 low with a 3 foot sledge and some rocky mountain delight.

I missed the fun but get to help fix the mess what is the t case number for a truck that year the tag on the bolt said 205 then had a number 4428003 not sure what it means it is not a chain driven t case and all the bearing look good its a bunch of small needle bearing. just need the synchronized shifting gears they arent actually synchros i just am at a loss for words what to call them thanks any help is great.

its a new process 205

your also in luck with it being an auto any of the dodge 205 transforcases will fit it might be cheaper to find one out of an old gasser truck

And you could sell the old one and recover some of the cost of the new one. The 205 is very sought after in the 4x4 world
