I hear where you are coming from, but here's the kicker with all the little doodads you can add on to these bulletin boards.....
Bandwidth and load time.
The more bandwidth we use, the slower the pages are to load, simple as that. Phil has worked hard to keep this sucker as fast as possible for ya'lls enjoyment, adding more "stuff" in will slow it down.
I like the idea, but I like a smoking fast page load better
