Toasted my 24v

Well i figured id put this here to see what you guys thought before i tear it apart. I was driving down the highway and it started wrapping pretty bad. i towed it home, pulled the valve cover, started it and there was a ton of blow by coming right up out of # 5 cylinder, but it held good oil pressure. Im thinking i put a hole in the piston, wont be sure till i get it apart, what do you guys think?

Yank the injectors and borescope it, might save yourself some trouble.

X2^^^^ Might find something else wrong and save some time and money. Or possibly find out you gotta spend more

It could be broken piston oilers...no lubrication or cooling on the bottom of the pistons is a very bad idea.

Or broken injector tip.... been there.

I would guess its the same as what happened to mine... a broken piston ring.
