I'm looking into buying a set of 20 inch wheels this winter, probably a 20x10 or 20x12. I'm wanting a 305/50or55/20 All-Terrain tire. I tow pretty often and i was concerned about load rating on 20's. Just wondering what kind of tires you guys who tow with 20's are running...Thanks!

I tow a little with my wife's 2500 with moto metal 20's and nitto terra grapplers. It does just fine

I thought about Nitto 420's but they kinda scare me and I'd like a little more tread maybe. Whats the load rating on those Terra Grapplers Jason?

I think these are 10 ply...I have them on my truck and I love them.

I haven't found any in that size that are rated for more then 3195 a tire. But they do offer them in E.

i have nitto trail grapplers in 305/55/20 and i tow heavy, and i tow often. theya are handlig loads great, wearing well, just keep them rotated.

Since everyone is talking about tire weight rating, which is good; don't forget wheel ratings as well. The cheapo wheels are not meant for heavy weight or 80 psi of air in an E rated tire.

My proxeys do just fine. They wear just a tiny bit faster, but haven't had an issue with maybe 15k goose neck miles. That said, they are obviously terrible in any kind of mud. So bad that i get stuck in my yard where the sprinklers hit. So when these are done I'm going to be looking for a more tow worthy tire as well, and just deal with the spinning.

I got 42 inch pitbull rockers load range E for my three quarter ton and I'm waiting on some staz works beadlocks now. I plan to tow a single car. and occasionally a 48 footer with two regs on it

I have cooper zeon ltz on 22 inch wheels I think their 305/40/r22. They are awesome tires all around, I have towed around 10 k with them and have probly around 15k miles on them and they still look new

I run Toyo Open Country A/T 2's in 305/50r20 and they have been great. I've pulled 12-15k for 2-3 hrs at a time with no problems.

I've been considering taking my lift off an running a set of 305/50R20 nitto 420s.. I only tow 8-10k a few times a year. Was wondering how these tires hold up to our heavy truck though?

The toyos run just fine at that weight, I'm sure the nitto's are equal.

I've been looking to see what ply the nitto's are but I've found is the load rating of 3086lbs

I have the 295/65R20 Nitto Trail Grapplers and have towed a lot with them. They perform great!! I think mine are rated for 4080 pounds per tire.
