traction bars

unless you have ifs. it will help, but they still hop a little off the line if boosted too much

CALTRAC are the best bet going , I don’t see the problem with everyone’s traction issues , on Project X diesel we used Caltrac's and removed all the spring leafs, but one and the truck leaves with out turning a tire, and run consistent 1.6 60"

The tire we run is the 395 45 17 M&H drag radial , it has more bite then need, I would really rather see a little wheel speed on the launch anyway

I went from Cal Tracs to my own design bars...mine are 6'4" long.
I can feel the leverage lifting the front of the truck now vs the Cal Tracs lifting the rear to plant the tires.
The Cal Tracs worked fine...but mine work better IMHO.

sounds like somthing that would work, show a picture

I'll try to remember to take a pic tomorrow. I never got around to it when I built them.

leaf spring thing sound great for a drag truck only though. cal-tracs are what i have
