I'm thinking of getting a TS MP8 for my 06 LBZ. Do I have to do anything with the relief valve when I install it?

Any thoughts?

Yes The MP8 comes with a Shem kit included. Takes aprox. 30 Min. extra. There is a Race plug available if bigger upgrades are planed in the future.

Thanks for the info, I have tried to get my relief valve off before with no luck...is there a trick to it? It sure was on there tight.

Usually have to stack 2 wrenches together or use a pipe, you wont break it just be careful and use a good brand name wrench so you dont round it off. wear a pair of glove too is you like skin on your knucles.

Is the MP8 essentially a pressure box (like the PPE Duramaximizer and VA pressure box?) or more than that?

Basically yes. I have one and installed two shims. It's apparently not enough, I still throw codes and need to install the third shim
