I've got a 2007 f250 6.0. (My second 6.0). It has 270 on it. I just did head gaskets, arp studs, sinister diesel egr delete, coolant filter. I also did the upgrades to high pressure oil system, new oil cooler, 4" exhaust and cool air kit. With that done I'm looking at tuners. edge or sct. I hear the edge put a strain on trannys why is that? I'll use the as a driver and pulling car to track.
 
SCT. Contact Eric at Innovative or Matt at Gearhead and get custom tunes. You will not be disappointed!

I have an x3 with innovative tunes on it. Came off an 05 with a 6speed though. The guy wants $400 for it if that can help you let me know
 
Even SCT canned tunes run good but custom is the way to go. I had erics extreme race tune but didnt really care for the way it shifted. It was all or nothing so i kept mine on a 65hp tow tune with agressive tow haul and the exhaust brake on. It worked extremely well for pulling my tractors.
 
I agree SCT Gearhead tunes. SRL was the best think I ever did for my 6.0
