I have an early 99 and recently bought a turbo for a 99.5-03 7.3 I have been told that all I need to do is get a pedistal from one of those years and the turbo will work is this true does anybody know??? I have also been told by a local shop that a van pedistal is the way to go because of the EBPV delete is this true also??

yes and yes you will have to get a pedestal for a late 99-03 for that turbo to work and yes van pedestals i believe do not have ebpv

Thanks now all I gotta do is find one from a van

isn't the compressor outlet differant too? if so you will need a new intake spider and some adapter hoses to go down to your smaller intakes or the 3in intakes off a newer truck

Well as for the intake spider I could just go with a company like CFM+ or AFE Right that would solve that problem or no

Oh ya up pipes I have been told something about bellowed international up pipes. What the heck is bellowed mean

bellowed means it has some sort of coupling in there that lets it flex. for example a braided stainless coupling or a crinkled section.
