Very little Boost

99 7.3 was hauling the pull truck to a pull last night and pulling a couple hills and the truck would barely make 5lbs of boost and it would almost drop to 0lbs, but once i go to the top it would go up to 25 not sure what is causing this, pulled the boots off no rips, and the clamps are tight, any ideas.

Maybe the bolt backed out and is hitting the turbine wheel and slowing or stopping? Are you turbo bolts all there? The 99-00 were known for losing or having them back out.(the ones that go into the exhaust housing)

had one guy let a diesel shop work on his and they left a snapon wrench in the air intake and it had been there for 2 years there was no fins left on the compressor wheel when i put the turbo on it lol

allright i will check to see if the bolts backed out, any other ideas if that is not the case
