Vnt turbo question

I'm swapping a 12valve Cummins into my 03 f-350 and got to thinking about the turbo, I'm going to fit all the ford sensors to the Cummins and I'm curious if anyone knows if the computer will still be able to control the turbo based off the basic sensors or does it use feed back from the ficm?

Most likely feed back from FICM also.
Unless you already have the 6.0 turbo, you should look into the 6.7 cummins turbo. Can control it a few ways. There's also a fleece controller and another newer one, the banshee II.

I have both turbos currently, I'm mounting a ht3b under one of them but the 12valve is mechanical and the only standalone control I have found is like 800$. I ran the he351 with a waste gate but it's a piss poor way to do it
