what are people doing for VSS for CM2100 converted trucks

Ran a dyno recently but I already knew I was under powered. It feels like I'm not getting full power and it shows on the dyno and efilogs. I read somewhere that its due to the fact that VSS isn't hooked up. I do have a P0501 code.

So question for folks is, how are they feeding VSS data to the ECM? There aren't many wheel sensor -> can bus adapters on the market.

Or can you just disable the P0501 code to get full power?
