Well changed my engine oil today and a little surprise was stuck to the drain plug magnet any ideas what it is.... Piston ring, wrist pin clip ? Truck is a 1991 12v non intercooled. Chunk of steal is about inch n a half long an 1/8 inch in width

Had a small sliver on my drain plug too but not nearly as big as this. Why do the 91s crack thrust bearings?
