Wow! I didn't realize that your brother still owned his regular cab... Sharp pickup!

<60 trim, seems to be wishful thinking it would produce a 5:1 rise in pressure unassisted.
So ideally it should have the S500SX compressor?
What do you think about turbos like BD's 86mm, that's ~50 trim.

Even the maps are misleading? I was comparing the 64.5, 66, and 69 compressors. All hit borgs speed limit prior to 5.0 PR. The 66 and 69 both are at 66% efficiency at a max PR of 4.7, but the 69 flows 6-8 lbs more. Are lower trim compressors more capable when pushed past overspeed?
Bringing this one back. I went with a 76SXE/96 in a 1.0 T4 housing. I had issues getting the truck to 60ft due to track conditions. I believe with a good 60 is will go 10.2s. Driveability is great boost 62 drive 75. This is a fuel only stock head/cam 5.9 so I am beyond happy with the results.
Nice!
Right lane from last night almost an identical pass with the 76sxe/87 1.1. Still trying to get my tune dialed in my rail is draining with higher rpms. I'm beyond impressed with it so far!

Yeah matchbot only has efr series as most current.
What are you seeing as different? This was the supposed map supplied to II...... grain of salt.
On paper may be the only place a 64 trim compressor looks good, especially in a diesel application.
So now that it's been proven these turbos make more power than rated, are you still skeptical ?
Your understanding of how engine brake dynos operate must be on par with your understanding of how turbochargers work.
What is drive pressure like in that setup? Im asking because Ive killed 2 76sxe. 1 was 87 turbine and 1 was 96 turbine. Highest drive I saw was 80psi.

I may have to invest in a gate. What did it make on the dyno?I monitored it when I was on the dyno with a compression gauge that I just threw on there till I got a permanent gauge set up. I haven't made a permanent setup with it yet to monitor when I make my drag passes. First few pulls on dyno were around 45. Cranked wastegate up and it was hanging around 65 drive with 55-58 boost. Haven't touched it since. Can't remember what size gate I'm using I'll try and find what size it is.

Very nice! Is the gate a pain to setup? What does the truck weigh?Turbosmart hypergate 45.
TS-0506-1202 is the part #
Made 1008hp uncorrected at 1800us on 200overs.
New best time last Tuesday. Going to start cutting weight on truck now.
