Ok here goes...
I have a running/driving 05 quad cab 6spd Cummins truck that is absolutely beat to ****. Love the truck, but it's just not worth putting money in to fixing the body.
Bought an 06 mega cab gas truck with a destroyed trans and transfer case (exploded) for dirt cheap ($1900)...

Balanced bottom end

Stock cam/springs
DDP injectors with 30% over nozzles
BD 2nd gen manifold
Stock cp3 (looking to leave it that way)
BD lift pump/dual filter setup

Well, after 264k on stock injectors and fuel filter setup, I finally had an injector decide to go down. But not without doing so in a blaze of glory. Melted #5 piston, dropped a valve seat, valve met piston, broke the face off and danced around in the cylinder. Bent 2 other valves and cracked...
