I had a bad ring gear and I'm not verry knowledgable on the duramax or Allison so I had a mechanic put a new flywheel and ring gear on for me. After the install it is throwing trans code p0872 now. It also threw p0842 but that one seemed to clear for now. Any ideas on what would be going on...

Does anyone make a front band that can be put in without pulling the transmission. the old one broke half of the strut mount off so i was able to pull it out. If the strut mounts on the bands were a little lower profile i could put one in without pulling the trans. thanks

I pulled the vb out of my transmission last night hoping to put a strut back on the first band, when i had the vb out and on the bench what looks like a ball bearing fell out of some where. Does anyone know where this goes back in? thanks for the help

Just trying to get some input on aftermarket intercoolers. i have looked at the prices, but wandering if some are alot easier to install than others. Im looking at the cooltwist at the moment. I am going to put a s480 under my current charger and am not so sure that the stock I/C is up to it.
