Just ditched my 05 cummins and purchased an 06 Duramax (or so I the dealership said) irregardless its an LLY. What all do I need to start doing to elminate any upcoming issues I could have? Im planning to block the EGR asap but other than that what else to yall recomend?

Selling my 62/71 from industrial. The turbo is in great shape with minimal shaft play. Always let the egts get ~450 before shutdown. The only reason I'm getting rid of it is I'm going bigger..

Iv'e got a Dr. Performance Stage III (the adjustable one) 100hp pressure box, sent it back to Dr. P about a year ago and got their "latest and greatest" put on it. Truck ran great with it, I just no longer need it with my setup.

New law just passed in Texas. Trucks with turbos now require a muffler. My current setup is with no muffler but with the cat. I was considering hollowing the cat out and throwing a hushpower on. Sound good or is there a better way to go?:rules:
Im new to competition diesel but i really like it. I heard something about it on dtr and figured i should check it out. Anyways to yall think i sould keep my stack or just lose the dr performance and get a smarty sr?
