    99 24v hammers on high idle

    my new to me 99 24v when it starts to idle up seems to hammer like holy hell making tons of racket and sounds horrible but as soon as i touch the pedal idle comes back down and it stops till it try`s to idle up again . it has a guad 4k box 7x14 injectors 2.5 turbo and plenty of fuel suppply...

    taking a hard look at setting my sled truck up for diffrent duty it already very light at just a tad under 6500 lbs w me in it make plenty of power at just shy of 800 on fuel only. it is currently a 5 speed setup i want to swap a really low gear set front and rear and go auto thinking...
