01 2500 Truck Died??????????

On the way home after a 25 mile drive cracked down in my normal straight stretch and let off it died.It just spins over.Plenty fuel pressure.P1698/P1693/P0602 codes. No pump codes.I think the ECM took a ****.I do not have a test unit so??

I did,no fuel.I did change some Smarty settings this AM and been 50 miles in it today?

Every pump I ever changed showed injection timing issues in the codes.

1698 is not a pump code.

0216 is the timing pump code

The first codes were with my Snap On scanner.I just pluged the Smarty and it had 2 more,P0622/P1765.

1765 should be from a built tranny if you have one.

I'll bring my Cummins pump test box home tonight to see if it is the pump or ECM.This all happened late last night.

Mutha appears to be dead.Something had to break inside of it to just die. It is a first for me and I changed a bunch.

New pump fixed it.I hate spending money on it when it is broken ($1150 w/tax) but I dont mind if it is a upgrade and this is not.It has less smoke and appears to have same power.
