01 hard starting

hello to all. I have a 2001 f350 that was a a 7.3 and is now a 5.9 cummins

I have been driving the truck for 3-4 yeras now and all of a sudden it acts like the batteries are dead or low. I have tested both batteries and both are testing good with proper amp draw

Is there a commom problem with these trucks such as battery cables or solenoid that would cause this problem

Did you have your alternator tested too?

I had the alternator tested

Im using the dodge starter and have had 0 issues since swapping in the 5.9

I should say "it wont start" Im losing amp/voltage drop between the battery and the starter

it just groans when I try to start it

funny how normal looking battery terminals can prevent the juice from flowing
