01 with ovaries?

Hi

My 01 2500 QC 4wd LB seems to be having issues. It does fine first thing in a.m. after I drive and shut off it has no balls when I drive it again. I read how to pull codes and come up with P0460,P 1693 then it says pecu? P0234,P1693, P0216. Any ideas?

0460 is Fuel Level Sensor A Circuit, which I have no idea to what that refers to. 0234 is an overboost code. I got it all the time with my smarty on. I wouldn't worry about that one. 0216 is the timing circuit malfunction. Usually the death throws of the injection pump.
 
It's the weirdest thing because it may go 100yds or 2 miles and then just like some gremlin flips a switch and be just fine. I'm pretty much clueless on diesel engines. (In case ya hadn't already figured that out)
 
sounds like fueling issues most likely your injection pump which might have been caused by your lift pump dieing
 
P0460-Fuel level sending unit no change over miles. Sounds like your fuel gauge is shot.
P1693-DTC cleared in companion JTEC module. Sounds like nothing...
P0234-Turbocharger overboost condition. :woohoo:
P0216 Fuel injector pump timing failure. That one could be bad.
