I have a 2002 4x4 2500 5spd, with a 1.5 yrd old Valair clutch in it with less than 5k miles on I dont drive this truck all the time, I was driving down a dirt road in second gear, had to get out for a second to check something, left the truck running in nuetral, got back in the truck & it wouldnt go into gear,NO CLUTCH PEDAL, so i checked the everything under the truck nothing look broke and it wasnt even making a noise, so I killed the truck put it in gear and started it to get it back home, it still has no clutch pedal, I have welded the clutch plate to the flywheel before but we was drag racing, this time i waqs doing nothing, any other ideas what i could look at before I have to pull the tranny.
Any help would be great

My question is, if the clutch was engaged and you have no pressure in the clutch pedel how did you get it started in gear? The clutch had to disengage some to get the truck started in gear.

The first thing I would check is the slave cylinder. Take it out of the trans and see if it has come apart.

If it was in neutral with the p-brake on there shouldn't really be a problem ... I have a southbend dd 555 street clutch.. No probs so far .. I'd say just get the clutch checked out at a shop or do it ur self

Hydraulics, mine was similar except it would start moving with clutch depressed. They are simple to change.
