02 7.3 coolant in oil

i pulled the valve cover to replace 2 injectors and found pudding on the valve cover. low and behold its coolant to and not just condensation. thinking head gasket or cracked head. if it were an injector cup it would put fuel in coolant, if it were oil cooler oil would be in coolant. and i don't see how the water pump would ever let coolant into the oil on one of these. just want to make sure i'm not missin somethin. thanks

Did u drain the oil and see if there was more coolant?

there was no visible coolant when i drained the oil but i did it before i new of this problem so it might not of had enough time to seperate i can't remeber how long it had been sitting.

Are you positive it was coolant? How about a pic? How often you change your oil? I would be 100%positive before I took the head off. Was it under both valve covers or just the one bank?
