first the bad. this is a salvage title it had some death wobble issues and it ended up on its side. then the wrecker rolled it over all the way so it now has a new cab and salvage title. the wheels look kinda funky around the outside they had a chrome lip that started falling off so i pulled them all off i think it looks better but they look dirty.
the foam in the drivers seat is wearing out there is no rip yet but the foam is soft were it normally rips. i waas puting the hood on and chiped the paint were the hood meets the cab its small but noticeable if you look

good. new bushings in the front end, new trac, bar new power steering pump, newish transmission billit single disk converter dont know whos vb redline clutches, new intank pump conversion new ujoints in back new toyo proxis 285-50-20, glowshift guages boost and egt, still have stock pillar, 2nd gen manifold swap, phat shaft 66 or stock wichever you want
i have a 6in lift with extra stock coils and fairly worn 325 55 20 terra graplers.
would like to trade forstandard cab auto 12 v i miss mine

Is there anyway to get a clean title for it? Possible trades for hte 99 cummins in my sig?

My truck was a salvage from texas. I live in Pa. I had to fix what was wrong with it and keep all reciepts. Then I had to take it to an enhanced inspection station where they inspected it and took pictures of it and copies of all my reciepts. They also took the bill of sale and all parts. If you buy parts from out of state such as summit don't put those reciepts in as they do not charge tax and the state will charge you tax on anything you did not. Least Pa does. Kinda screwed up that they can charge you tax on something you already bought from out of state. After they are done and your state accepts the information they send you a title. Mind you this is how Pennsylvania worked.

How do you figure, some states drop the salvage title once they have been fixed.

OK...In Indiana that's illegal. And I may be wrong but I believe no matter what a states laws are taking a vehicle that has been branded salvage or rebuilt to another state simply to "wash" the title is also illegal. Do I agree? NO...just stating some facts as I have delt with salvage/rebuilt titles here in IN before...

BTW....it will always show on on CarFax no matter what the title says....

I gotcha, I was just wondering because I had heard that you can get a clean title for a salvaged vehicle under certain circumstances

no frame damage the body damage was mostly caused by the wrecker. i barely got over and the wrecker rolled it back onto the road instead of puting it on the wheels and towing it back up he just looped the strap around the truck and rolled it complety over and dropped it when it was almost on the road and it rolled back over on itself the frame is fine when i got it back it still had the same tires on it and i drove them for a while

its not that the truck may or may not have frame damage.. that does not hold water ,,, what does is the repair was close to the valve of the truck and when that hanppens the insurance company can total out a car or truck ... i changed frames in are shop alot for non-repairable frames on trucks ... but the repair bill was like 15,000- 20,000 ... you can have a car or truck with a bill of 2000.00 to repair it and have frame damage ,but the frame has been repaired ,,,, over 60 percent of cars driving on the road have had damage done to them at some time in the cars life

no frame damage?

like the truck is there a way you could send me some pics of the inside and the estimate the bodyshop done to it (or repair that where done )..
