So i do some truck pulling. Run the TNT/R tune. 2.6 charger. ive got springs and cam. been wondering about the valve seats. They kind of got me worried. Is this strictly heat related or whats goin on with them guys? How and where are you getting them fixed? Thanks everyone!:charger:
 
My undestanding is that high egts for extended period will creat valve seat issues

When my head was installed, I had the valve seats staked in, which creates a lip for better holding
 
you can get em staked if you plan on having hea work done!

I got mine staked and new valve guides when I had my oring done
 
+1 for staking... I had it done on my last head and it actually got hot enough to crack but didn't drop the seats.

Although should it really be called staking or peening?
