03 HO compared to 01 power?

I have an 01 auto with edge/att and 250K miles, my wife has the 03 auto, HO stock, 220K miles. Mine seems faster even on level "0" - does that seem right, or is there an issue with the 03? I thought I would feel more from 305HP compared to 235HP. The 03 shows a little black smoke on free rev, otherwise runs good - would failing injectors explain both?

Scan data off the '03 ecm and see what's happening! SOTP meters vary too much.
