I have a friend trying to help an old man out. The old man's truck is hunting engine speed when on idle, off idle holds set engine speed and operates smoothly. Also says the engine will choke out rather than pull the vehicle when releasing the clutch on the (6) speed. My friend also drained a considerable amount of water from the FFWS.
I'm curious about what to suggest to do. I ran into lift pump issues on mine, FCA and apps. I hate to tell them to throw parts at it and I haven't messed with a CR since I sold mine.
