03 tranny

The tranny in my 03 seems to get stuck in 2nd gear. Only does it sometimes no real pattern to it. The vin says it is a 48re truck has a smarty jr thats it
373 gears stock tires 107000 miles any ideas

did you ever get your trans fixed? My 03 doesn't want to shift 1-2 or 2-3 unless I'm over 3/4 throttle

yes i had it redone at a local shop 3 disk converter hd bands and clutches 3100 dollars later she shifts 10x better than stock

My father in laws does the same thing, but its only when we are out putting around glassing for deer or elk. It will hang until he punches it, I think its a pressure issue...
