Just fluidamper, AFE, 4" straight. ConFE, airdog, Trainhorns (3hp gain) and Edge EZ on 3 and Attitude on 6 (new ver 17 box with turbo timer).

Smarty also was tested (it's a dyno day so only 2 runs). I forgot to turn the edge box down to 0, however I didn't blow up anything :rockwoot: . My theory is that near the start of the second pull the edge backed down 100% since my EGT's did get high much quicker. So when I was making full boost and in the main part of my run the edge was backed down 100%. Smarty made over 450hp to 3400rpm (ran to 3700). It did dip in the middle of the run but I suspect the EDGE being on 6 with the smarty on 9 didn't help under 2000rpm. Still impressed with a 92,000 mile old truck :)

I'm selling this edge box (ebay) since it doesn't stack for a crap and getting the TST. Any takers?

stick with what works. Hot Juice and a pressure box. When i had that set up, I outran a few 550hp trucks with my little stock turbo. Thats a good combo....you better cherish it!

yeah, but I'm not going to get much further. and I like the smarty and extra RPM's. TST box will bring the adjust ability back and then some as it is supposed to stack better then the edge box.

ask Triton what a Smarty/TST combo looks like on a stock turbo :badidea:

Who says I"m going to have a stock turbo for much longer? ;-)

At first yeah, but being conservative will be necessary

you said you don't plan to do much more!!!!

Stack this, stack that. Been there done that. Hot Juice/EZ is a very reliable, user friendly setup. Keep it simple.

I'm just planning for the future, one step at a time here. I've done enough reading and made up my mind on the path I wanna go (with out trying 20 different boxes, turbo's and whatnot).

And I wouldn't say the juice/ez is reliable. So far twice I sent in the juice after a dyno run, dynoed a 6 months later and gain 40-60hp :) maybe a replacement or two in between. This latest box tho hasn't hicuped or shown signs of "wear" per say. It's proven to make over 500hp with ez and a few ppl around here are looking to duplicate my setup! But the previous (about 6) replacements just plain broke.

Anywho. I plan to join the ranks of the big(ger) dogs next summer. :)

Good idea....but heres the problem. Not all trucks like the same mods. You have to test and tune to find what works best on your truck.

naturally. But you can get perty close until your over 800-ish hp (fuel only) nowadays.

I'm looking 750-ish on fuel only. Prolly nitrous on top of that for kicks with no real HP goal there, maybe just enough to clean up the smoke (if any).

I want to see a dyno graph for a 512hp stock turbo truck. Got one?

It's in my truck. I don't have a scanner at home here. wait till tomorrow please.

What would make these dyno things easier is if these dyno shops would invest in adobe standard so they can print to PDF and keep these dyno sheets in digital format as well as hardcopy.

That is a strong truck....don't blow it up. 04.5's are the shizzle and will be on the Barret-Jackson Auction Block at the rate diesel's are going these days.:hehe:

Thanks, I just wish I had a better run with the smarty with out "human error".
