Ive got an 04.5 motor that has a bad piston (number 6) from a bad injector. Its got some of the front drive stuff on it still. The cylinders look good and it has only got 73k on it. The truck that it was in had a wiring fire and I pulled the head off to put a gasket on it and realized the piston was bad so Im buying a complete engine to make things more simple. It would mainly be good for a core engine to rebuild or you could put 1 piston in it and it should be fine. I have the head but it is cracked on the intake. It would be good to cut off the intake.
I also have a complete 2000 non 53 block engine minus the injection pump. Its got about 150k on it. I got it from a wrecked truck at work. It was bought new by the company and has been stock from day 1 never had a programmer or anything on it. Its got a newer turbo and still has the ECM. I was going to P pump it and put it in my 04 dually for a puller but I found a complete engine instead.
