04 6.0 swap

Has anyone swapped a newer 6.0 such as an 07 in to a late model 04 and what needed to be modified?

Intake elbow is different and the wiring harness is slightly different. Outside of that, shouldn't be an issue. 03's had quite a few differences, but the 04's were pretty close to the 05-07.

i swapped an 05 in an early 04, I kept the 04 turbo and throttle body thing, thats about it it was pretty much a straight drop in

Not positive but I think you will have a fair amount of wiring to deal with!

I believe the wiring is the same, however it is very simple to just use the 04 harness on the newer motor

Oh yeah why your at it Delete the EGR!! and stud it

I recently picked up a dealership with GOS Performance they make a real nice delete kit
