(Building for my buddy) Started with a 6.0automatic with every problem you have ever heard of a 6.0 having finally talked him into buying a 12valve
Donor was a 95 sclb 4x4 for 4k with 130kmiles
Banks twin ram intake and a straight pipe exhaust and thats dug into it with all new gaskets tabbed the kdp which was almost all the way out
Bought motor mounts, a/c lines, tach kit from fordcummins
Went with an nv4500 and a valiar single disc ceramic/Kevlar clutch 650hp/rating-kept the factory ford transfer case by switching the input shaft with an 04 dogde input also fully rebuilt the nv4500 all trans work done by Steve Avant
Kept the factory cummins fan and had to have rear shaft lengthened 2"
After having almost everything done my buddy decided he wanted twins and bought an he351/ht60 setup which was made for a dodge so all piping had to be completely redone and givi g rhe fact that the ht60 spins counter clock wise that presented some clearence issues we endded up running the charge pipe out just above the shock and then angled it up through the fender turned out pretty sweet
As it sits now all thats left is the bottom radiator hose, turbo feeds/drains, heater hoses, wiring, neutral safety switch and pulling everything back off for powder coat and demessing the engine bay
