05 f450 loses heat

Have a 05 f450 and when driving down the road the heat will go away but when get to stop sign it will come back. Temp gauge says it's normal. Anyone else have something like this happen?

I don't want to put card board in front of it. It's a work truck loaded with tools my luck the workers driving it will over heat the truck. But now I have something to look at before dig in deeper

Is there a vacuum operated heater control valve in the heater lines? If so maybe a malfunctioning vacuum solenoid?

Wasn't referring to the cardboard with that thread. Was referring to the vacuum and controllers.

Ended up being the headgaskets were bad

Just did one last week with identical issues.
