Here's what I did. I cut the wire for the 3-4 shift and butt connected a wire from the ecm brought it inside the truck same as the other side (going to the trans.), installed a toggle switch. I went on a road test and flipped the switch. The trans. didn't go into od, but the cel came on at the same time I flipped the switch and I came up on a red light. The light went green, the trans. was still in 3rd gear, I had to man. shift to 1st. I pulled over and as soon as I could went on the smarty to see what it said. Low volt to solenoid...crap!!
Since then I haven't triggered the toggle...I'm gonna be buying the bd's or ts od override/lockout for the '05's...unless someone can steer me in the correct direction???
