06 QC/SB with 39k miles, 6 speed w/ SBC 3250 DD, BD r700 twins with a upgraded bottom turbo (s475), Smarty PoD tnt/race, ARP's, Hamilton Springs, AD150, 90hp stix, Gauges, and straight piped.

The truck is in excellent shape, Im looking for 27k or trade for a 12v or a 24v ppumped, auto, w/ 4x4.

Selling do to trying to buy a new house.

I have a 1998 quad cab 12v 4x4 auto with 146k miles on it... see sig and let me know what you think. The tranny is full billet and the truck was bone stock until 5k miles ago. The truck is in very good shape except some rust on the wheel wells. I have replaced just about everything that you can think of as far as maintenance is concerned.

also whos sticks? original owner? how many miles on the clutch and turbos? thanks in advance.

Nope, but it after a quick dip it will it hit and hold 23k

Orginal stixs honed out by Extrude Honed, 2nd owner bought from a guy up the street, clutch probably 8k, top turbo has 9k and bottom is almost new maybe 2k on it half of which was a 1k mile trip.
 
what level on the smarty were you running? do you have the stock turbo?head been oringed?what kinda boost with the fuel it currently has?

Running when? I normally run it on sw#5 since I get the best MPG with that tune, but it flat hauls on #6. No oringed, with the ARP's I didnt feel it was needed, I have it gated a 54psi.
 
i'm back in the market.. i've had 3 06's and it's time for another.

would it be a good daily driver as it sits or should i look elsewhere?

Why yes sir, you wont find a better DD anywhere, I promise you, the truck will beat anything on the road and still get 35mpg easy. There hows that. :poke:


But really, I daily drive it everyday, with zero issues, with the smarty sw#5 I get about 17.3-17.7mpg going to work, dpending on how many lights i hit that week and if the bridge is up, but I also never get above 45mph and its 6miles from my house, all city driving. I just made two round trips from Davenport, Iowa to Atlanta, Ga and back (which has been more miles Ive put on the truck than in the past 6 months of driving) and it ran smooth as glass, got 18.7mpg there and 19.6mpg coming back cruising at 73-78mph. Only thing on sw#5 it's a little more laggy than I thought it would be with the twins, but I havent fooled with anything in the Smarty in the way on Timing, Rail, and Torque Management. Now put the Smarty on sw#6, Tq- 4, Tm-3, and Rp-3, and she'll flat fly, still feels like the stock turbo is on lag wise, put with a massize top end. stock turbo included? have a buddy that is interested but his budget is 23-24,000 and Iam just trying to see what we can do to put him in this truck. Iam also in marshalltown Iowa, so its close for a nice truck.little concerned on the fuel system so would really have to check it out and drive it first. would hate to buy it and instantly have an injector cp3 issue.

No, I sold it to help pay for the twins. Id be more than happy to let you drive it first, Im not sure what injector/ cp3 issue you'd have besides rail PSI dropping off when you get on it, but like I said it comes back to 23.5k which is max with out a MP-8 or such.
