what was the temp outside at startup? i know i hear a high idle.
i havent ran a grid heater in my DD for over 5 years but here in tx it never gets below 20*.
have you tried removing the grid heater wires temporarily to see how it acts?
so its not just your glow shift gauge showing that spike but the scanner shows it as well?
i have a set of glow shift gauges on my 2nd gen and they twitch
