My pop's has an 06 F350 Dually, with only 17K on the od. He has gone through one set of front brake's and is wondering if this is going to be a normal thing. If so, What are the best pad's to use to get a longer life from them? He does tow an 11' cab over camper, 40% of the time. THANKS!

Hawk LTS. Not that it is a big deal or anything but this is the 6.4 forum, you want the 6.0 forum. I actually just bought all new brakes from discount power parts at a great price. 4 powerslot rotors, not cryo, and 8 Hawk LTS pads for $634 to my door.

this should be in the in the ford products section I'm guessing (mods please move) but my boss has an '04 which I'm guessing is the same setup and I put them on his truck about every 20k and he never pulls anything so I'd say he better get used to putting brakes on.......fords are heavy dude! Something may be wrong with his truck too but it wears back brakes out in about 35k so I know the rears are working somewhat. I just put the cheap O'reilly pads on 'cause the better pads were wearing out the rotors about as often as the pads. Good luck

I actualy thought I clicked on the 6.0 link, sorry guy's. Mod's can move it if they like. So the Hawk LTS is the way to go? What are others using? Thanks again!

and i thought it was my old man he has had the brakes fixed 6 times and its an 02 crew cab with 135.000 miles on it
