06 in an early 04

Any benefit or issues With running a 06 motor with 06 spray pattern in a 04 with 04 electronics? Going to run a HP tuner.

Not really. I guess if your buying new Pistons and injectors it'd be fine.

Wouldn't think so, I just put an early 04 motor in my cummins swap and used 06 electronics..I've actually been told companies specializing in these cummins swaps will swap over all the commonrail motors to early electronics, 1 to avoid the skim, and 2 to be able to utilize the cable tps so cruise csn be made to work..I wouldn't think there would be a problem with it
