I went and looked at a '06 F450 6.0l Automatic with 97K on it I can get for cheap. The truck ran yesterday when my brother found it. I went to look at it today too look at it and it won't run.. According to the guy that owns the place he pulled it into their shop last night to replace the windsheild, Started it and parked it outside. It cranks over great, But doesn't start. No smoke. The tach moves when cranking, No oil leak or oil running down anywhere.. Checked fuses and all were good any Ideas?

Does it have oil psi? It may have blown a hpop o-ring. If you have access to a scanner look at the icp psi it should have 600-900psi to start. if its any lower it wont start.

After 10 seconds or so the oil pressure guage would pop up to the normal range

I have 2004 that went though the same thang.Everybody was saying that my HPOP was out or I an O-ring blown.I bought the Auto Enginuity's software and figured out my problem was the cam position sensor($40)
. Just an idea?

try unplugging the ICP sensor, then try cranking it to see if itll start..
