06 turbo problems?

my buddy is interested in buying a 06 f350. i believe it has a 5'' straight pipe exhaust for mods. he asked me if i knew if there was any problems he should be aware of especially turbo wise. does anybody know if there are any common problems he should be aware of or look for any signs for wear and tare? your input would be greatly appreciated thanx

The vanes can and will stock overtime. Depending on how smoky he is, will depend on how quickly it happens.

Outside of the vanes sticking, there isn't really any issues that can be fixed (like backpressure).
