07/6.7 EGR Valve whistling sound/lite on dash

Trying to understand weather this valve is whistling or not, had it replaced, they said it was making the sound, now with the new one it is louder than before and the throttle control lite is still on. Any ideas....

Are you sure it isnt your exhaust brake making the whistling noise? I'm not sure why your electronic throttle control is on.
