07 rough idle

So a buddy of mine blew a head gasket and they replaced it but then it had a rough idle. So they scanned the truck and #5 injector was bad. They replaced it with a new one and it was great ran good for bout 45 mins and now back to rough idle. Scanned it again and it says #5 injector again. Any help would be great!
 
I would bet that one of the wires going to the injector is bad, or that the nut on the injector is bad.
 
What 06 said. Could swap the injector out with another and see if the problem follows.
 
Ok thanks guys I'm going to look at it tomorrow and see what's going on first hand. He's no mechanic either. I drilled him with questions and ya. I'm sure u guys have been there lol
 
Well I finally looked at his truck and the valves weren't set right. Way to tight on everything. So reset them and now it's perfect. Just letting you guys know
