08-09 6.7 EGT's??

I'm looking into going to the 6.7 to try it out, and right now im dealing with the 2004.5 high egts problem, wondering if the 6.7 design is any better for the egts? Or is it like the 04.5's where you have to throw alot of turbo at them to keep them down??

when i tow 20k with mine usually around 1000 when i pull an average hill its about 1200-1300

6.7's are made to handle higher EGT's if you do the deletes you will never have any EGT problems worth worrying about

I just got a 08 6.7. We got it to pull a camper, a good size one that hooks up in the box. Will I have to worry about EGTS? What is the cause of EGTS? What are normal EGTS when pulling something?
