08 gmc superchips chip opinion needed

buddys got an 08 gmc. wants a little more towing power and mpg(dont we all) anyways his bud sells superchip stuff and is trying to talk him into a new chip.. i guess the equivilant of a quad or edge ez chip. 3 settngs..on the fly adj..etc.

anyways whats the general opinion of the superchips stuff...its a plug and play chip not a tuner...

they worth 350 bucks for a new one or are they all hype and cool advertisements
