what the pros, and cons of .093 line... please explain...i was looking to buy some... but what will i get out of them as in power wise... i have 150 sticks.. airdog.. and other stuff... i am not stock... pushing 500hp maybe 525 havent dynoed in a while... sence water meth been on..will this help in gaining some hp. or is it a waste of money.. and just get the lope?

Waste of money and will probably cost you power. The VP can't flow enough fuel to fill the big lines so it'll start loping like crazy and start screwing with the timing and pop off and what not.

Or bigger injectors or a better turbo or nitrous or water/meth or anything else.

not trying to hyjack the thread but these lines were recomended to me for my 3.9L with the twin turbos and a 370cc pump, would they be worth it or should I just put the money towards modded injectors?

According to the thread I should just forget the threads but where is the limit where stock lines start to become a restriction? is 370cc on a 4 cylinder enough to need the bigger lines.

The truck in the OP's sig is a 2001 VP44 truck which can't benefit from larger lines. On your mechanical injection 3.9l, they may be worthwhile. I wouldn't even try to try run a 13mm p-pump without having at least .093's.

A BIG thank you to all that posted on here..i have herd a lot more cons on the bigger lines then pros....thanks for all the help... yea ... money saved , for nitrous....well i was getting nitrous any way.. but now its racen slicks and track bars.... thanks once again guys..

Curtis ya need to get rid of that vp if you really want to make some power. I think you have maxed it out.

thank you chris...ohhhh and i bet you will say.. p-pump it.....:blahblah1::blahblah1::blahblah1:...nope not ***** pumping it...not going to happen....

you can make some serious good power with a vp like you said dont p pump it just give Mike @ M&J Tool and fab a ring his pump his sticks will get you what you want, i wouldnt even put spray on it save the money put it else where

Thanks for clarifying.

Doesn't sound like the VP crowd has any different results with larger injection lines than p-pump guys. Other than pure sled pulling the only time larger lines have been proven to be beneficial is when using larger than stock plungers. I've never heard good things power wise about going to larger lines.
370cc doesn't seem wild enough to warrant large lines.

I vote for all to stick with stock sized lines unless you have larger than stock plungers.

Cons:
  • Loss of power
  • Rough idle
Pros:
  • None

how much power can these line lose over the stockers? i like the lopey idle. well, sounds cool anyway.

are they needed with a 12mm p pump running about 550cc's or 600cc's of fuel, i was gonna have my holders edm's to 093 and get the 093 lines. waste of time or not
